Well last week was my mom's 50th birthday and a friend of hers suggested that we go to Atlantic City to celebrate and we were like okay cool 'cause we had never been there before. I had school, work and business workshop classes so we had to wait until Friday the 19 when I got off of work to catch the 8 o'clock bus to get there. When I got off I don't know where the time went, it was minutes to 8 when we were leaving. Finally we arrive at 42nd Street trying to purchase tickets and looking for her friend. The line was crowded and luckily the ticket man from upstairs told us that we can buy the tickets downstairs from the gate so away we go looking for the gate and her as well. We found them but we had to wait for the next bus. Okay so we finally board the bus and I of course I had to use the bathroom... So I made my way in the back to the bathroom and had to wait on line. I asked a fellow passenger how long does it take to get there he relied "2 hours and half" and I was like are you serious to through wishing I had new about this ahead of time. When I get into the bathroom of course the bus has to start to move and flings me all over the place, my balance keeps and I started to hold on for dear life lol :) Looking around like what in the world trying to get out of there as fast as I can!!!
After getting through traffic (which added about 15-20 more minutes) we arrive to Atlantic City (Yey). Immediately your greeted by lights and casinos. It was nice to see all of the lights they reminded me of New York :) The Resorts hotel was decent the suites were all booked up by the time we got there. We grabbed a bit to eat at BreadSticks Cafe & Grill and I wish we hadn't... It had rained and left it misty outside but we were still able to go outside and enjoy it. We The casino was kind of cool, the drinks no bueno. On Saturday it was beautiful outside it was burning up hot out there ( in October I'll take that :). The bags were heavy after we checked out (they wanted to walk) so I got on the buggy ride (they put their bags in) to take me to Bally's it was so comfortable!!! I really enjoyed the sight seeing that way and felt like the princess that I am lol ;) It was soooo hot out, I beat them there and had to wait in the blazing hot sun with all of the bags smh...!!! Finally they get there taking mad long, stopping at stores etc. and we go into Bally's. Before we played and left we got some food from Six Bistro oh boy wish we didn't eat there either. The service and drinks were better but still no bueno...!!!
Overall I'd go back but on my own accord with my family. There are tons of things to do there we weren't by ourselves so... I'm looking forward to visiting again in the spring or summer time, the beach it right there at your footsteps :) The ride back wasn't that bad but I have to find a faster way there :)
